So often one hears “I just don’t understand abstract art, ” as though there were a key or a clue or something to “figure out.” We easily accept music as a non-representational art form, willing to embrace our sensations, to let ourselves “float” as the wind does, when we hear an evocative piece.

These¬†could in fact be called a “realist” paintings — they¬†portray my “real” feelings as I explore the shapes and colors that my hand finds as I work.
